This beautifully detailed, handpainted Magnum Canvasback stands 9 1/2 inches tall and measures 18" in length. This carving is one of our Tom Taber master carvings and is an exact replica of Tom's original. The president of our premiere carving company purchased over 200 of Tom Taber's master carvings and was licensed by him to replicate his work. They use the identical carving techniques right down to the same tools, art techniques, and wood Tom Taber used.Larger than many of our other decoys this will be a eye catching addition to your collection. This carved wood decoy is not solid, but hollow. Four small screws hold teh bottom in place. The hollowed out dimensions are: 9" long x 4.5" wide x 2-1/4" deep. Made of pine. It is not only a prominent display piece, but a thoughtful, ample resting place for ashes of a duck loving relative or pet. .(Each of our carvings are custom carved and painted to order.
