This is an original, fully detailed carving. From the beak to the end of the tail is 11 inches long. The total carving is 14 inches high. The bird is hand carved out of basswood and painted with acrylic colors. It is mounted on a hand carved wooden branch with hardwood base. Glass eyes and the feet are hand made from modeling putty.
