This great looking Bob White Quail carving is part of our Taber Collection....one of renowned carver Tom Taber's unique designs. This carving is one of our Tom Taber master carvings and is an exact replica of Tom's original. The president of our premiere carving company purchased over 200 of Tom Taber's master carvings and was licensed by him to replicate his work. They use the identical carving techniques right down to the same tools, art techniques, and wood Tom Taber used.It is lifesized and stands approximately 7" tall. From the front to the back of the base it is approximately 8.5" long. Carved from Alder wood, it sits atop a presentation carving depicting a forest floor with delicately detailed leaves.
